1.1. International Centre for Culinary Arts – ICCA Dubai

International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA)Dubai, established in the year 2005 is a world-class culinary training centre, delivering programs accredited by the internationally recognized City &Guilds, London.  

It has been featured amongst the "Top 10 Culinary Institutes in the World" and awarded the "Recognition of Quality Culinary Education" by World Association of Chefs Societies (WorldChefs),a global authority on food standard. 

The centre has won several awards, including the prestigious City & Guilds, London Lion Awards (Known as the Oscars of Skills), "International Centre of the Year Award 2016", apart from "International Centre for Excellence Award (Middle East)-2016",ProChef ME Cooking School of the Year 2016 and the Broadcast Pro Best Digital Initiative of the Year 2016, amongst several others for its application-focused and outcome-driven, innovative initiatives, quality training and continued excellence.

2. Electronic Communications 

You agree that we may communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the ‘Site’. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. 

www.iccadubai.ae also requires your agreement during the registration process to send you promotional emails to let you know about any new changes, features or promotional activities added to the “Site”. If at any time, you decide that you do not wish to receive promotional emails, you can opt-out of receiving such promotional emails by clicking on the link at the bottom of any promotional email. 

3. Copyright & Trade Marks 

All content included on the ‘Site’, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations and software, is the property and copyright work of either ICCA Dubai, its content suppliers or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademarks, patents or other intellectual property rights and laws. The compilation of the content on the ‘Site’ is the exclusive property and copyright of International Centre for Culinary Arts - ICCA Dubai and is protected by copyright, trademarks, patents or other intellectual property rights and laws. 

4. Online Payment Services 

Except as described in this Refund Policy or as explicitly stated by the payment partner – First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), sign-up process and refund policies for Payment Service, www.iccadubai.ae has no obligation to provide refunds for any other Services. 

We support the following methods of payment through our payment provider M/s. FAB – 

4.1. Pay Online 

We accept payments online using Visa and Mastercard credit or Debit card in USD, AED or any other agreed currency, equivalent to the amount quoted in AED / USD. If you make a payment for our courses on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection. 

The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules. 

Any use or access by anyone under the age of 13 is prohibited, due to the level of Information, Knowledge and Skills set imparted. Further, in cases wherein the customer using the website who are Minor / under the age of 18 shall use the services, support & guidance of Major for making the online payment and use of the website as per the Terms prescribed. 

4.2. First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) 

As one of the world’s largest financial institutions, FAB offers an extensive range of tailor-made solutions, and products & services, and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi in Khalifa Business Park with its international network spanning across five continents, providing the global relationships, expertise and financial strength to support local, regional and international businesses seeking to do business at home and abroad. Any use or access by anyone under the age of 13 is prohibited, due to the level of Information, Knowledge and Skills set imparted. Further, in cases wherein the customer using the website who are Minor / under the age of 18 shall use the services, support & guidance of Major for making the online payment and use of the website as per the Terms prescribed. 

4.3. Refund Policy 

If you are found to be in violation of www.iccadubai.ae’s Honor Code or otherwise violate the Terms of Use, your Services will be terminated and you will not be issued a refund. 

4.3.1

The Course / Composite Package Offer (CPO) fees will be refunded only in the following circumstances, if:

  1. ICCA Dubai cancels the course in which the student is enrolled.  In this case, ICCA Dubai will refund Course / Composite Package Offer (CPO) fees on a pro-rata basis within 8 weeks from the date of notice of course cancellation; 
  2. ICCA Dubai receives written notice of cancellation of enrollment from the student at least 28 days before the first day of the course. Note: In the event that enrollment is cancelled by the student, ICCA Dubai may retain 20% of the Course / Composite Package Offer (CPO) fees towards administrative costs.  
4.3.2

The Course / Composite Package Offer (CPO) fees will NOT  be refunded in the following circumstances, if: 

  1. The student cancels enrollment less than 28 days prior to the course commencement. 
  2. The student discontinues the course or leaves the hostel facilities due to personal reasons or if the course is interrupted or cancelled through an act of God or terrorism. 
  3. If in the case a course has been availed through Special Offers or Promotions, Online or Offline and Events.  
4.3.3

ICCA Dubai will refund approved amounts within 8 weeks after receiving a written claim from the student. 

4.3.4

Refunds will only be transferred through normal banking channels to the person who paid the Course / Composite Package Offer (CPO) fees in their country of source, e.g. if the financial sponsor of the student has paid the Course / Composite Package Offer (CPO) fees, the refund will only be transferred to their bank account in their home country. 

4.4. Delivery Policy 

At the time of checkout, we clearly disclose to the cardholder the possibility that multiple registrations may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement. www.iccadubai.ae will not deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE. 

5. Privacy Policy 

ICCA Dubai takes reasonable measures (physical, organizational and technological) to safeguard against unauthorized access to your personally identifiable information and to safely store your personally identifiable information. However, the Internet is not a secure medium and the privacy of your personal information can never be guaranteed. ICCA Dubai has no control over the practices of third parties (e.g. website links to this ‘Site’ or third parties who misrepresent themselves as you or someone else). You agree that ICCA Dubai may process your personal information that you provide to it for the purposes of providing the services on ICCA Dubai and for sending marketing communications to you, and that the Privacy Policy of this ‘Site’ governs our collection, processing, use and any transfer of your personally identifiable information. 

All credit/debit cards details and personally identifiable information will not be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.

The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore the Customers’ are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted. 

6. Indemnity 

You agree to indemnify and hold ICCA Dubai and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents and suppliers harmless from any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, expenses (including reasonable legal costs and expenses), howsoever suffered or incurred due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms & Conditions, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. 

7. General 

If any clause of these Terms & Conditions shall be deemed invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, such clause shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining clauses of these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions are amended from time to time in accordance with the latest policies and procedures.

No person who is not a party to this User Agreement shall have any right to enforce any term of this User Agreement. If these Terms & Conditions are translated into any language other than English, whether on the ‘Site’ or otherwise, the English text shall prevail. 

8. Governing Law 

United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile. These Terms & Conditions are governed by, and construed in accordance with, United Arab Emirates law. This clause will survive any expiry of these Terms & Conditions for any reason.
