The Foundation Course in Dry Mixology is perfect for anyone who wants to become an accomplished bartender. This program will help you to understand the basic skills that go into mixing a perfect Cocktail Zero, as well as exploring the different elements, ingredients, techniques to use and more.

About this Course

The 5 days bartending course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of bartending skills and knowledge.

Learn about the history of non-alcoholic drinks and understand how the role of bartender has evolved over the years. Explore the difference between being a great bartender and becoming a skilled mixologist.

The course covers topics such as bartending tools, equipment, and glassware, as well as cocktail recipes and mixology techniques.

Students will learn how to properly measure and pour ingredients, how to create a wide range of cocktailszero%, and how to garnish drinks.

The course will also cover important safety practices, such as responsible service and proper handling of bar equipment.

Our experienced faculty will take you through every stage of making  alcohol-free designed cocktails, from knowing your ingredients to understanding basic flavours,  to picture-perfect finishing and presentation. With the skills and knowledge gained from the course, students will be equipped to create high-quality non-alcoholic cocktails and provide an exceptional experience for their customers.

At the end of the course, students will have the fundamental skills necessary to work as professional bartenders in a variety of settings, including bars, nightclubs, restaurants and hotels.

Industry Internship & Work Experience Placement Program

ICCA Dubai’s IWP (Industry Internship / Work Experience Placement) Program is an industry integration initiative specially designed for students wishing to join the industry as Professional Chefs by way of regular employment or an internship leading
to work placement.

The IWP Program is separately conducted in addition to the 620 hours of intensive on-campus guided learning and training, which comprise our Professional Program.

The IWP arrangements are in the form of either regular employment to begin with, or an industry internship generally of 6 to 12 months’ duration, successful completion of which would lead the student chef to a regular work placement.
